Job summary

Naeco offers an apprenticeship opportunity for a Fitter Machinist in Australia. The successful candidate will undertake a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade while earning wages and gaining practical experience.

Expected to complete mechanical repair tasks, operate manual and CNC machines, and participate in root cause analysis within a safety-focused, team environment. Applicants must have Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Driver licence and reliable vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strip, assess, repair, assemble and test mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipment.
• Manual and CNC machine operation.
• Assist with root cause analysis investigations.
• Complete inspection and test plans meeting corporate compliance standards.
• Provide troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions.
• Prepare repair quotations and scheduling of jobs for repair.
