Job summary

Visy is offering an Electrical Apprenticeship in our Queensland beverage can manufacturing facility. Working alongside experienced electricians and maintenance technicians, you’ll gain hands-on experience maintaining advanced production machinery, automation systems and manufacturing equipment while completing a nationally recognised electrical trade qualification.

You’ll learn with tradespeople and supervisors while studying at TAFE.

Qualifications

• Completed Year 12 (or equivalent).
• Genuine interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Current driver's licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship within a highly automated beverage can facility.
• Learn alongside experienced tradespeople while completing TAFE studies.
• Upon completion, become a qualified Electrician with hands-on experience in PLCs, robotics and automation.

About The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced Electricians and Maintenance Technicians, you'll gain hands‑on experience maintaining advanced production machinery, automation systems and manufacturing equipment while completing a nationally recognised electrical trade qualification.

What You Will Learn

• Complete a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship within a highly automated beverage can manufacturing facility, gaining exposure to maintenance, production, logistics, engineering and site leadership teams.
• Learn alongside experienced tradespeople and supervisors while completing your TAFE studies, developing practical skills in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and industrial automation.
• Upon successful completion, you'll be a qualified Electrician with hands‑on experience working with advanced manufacturing equipment, PLCs, robotics, AGVs and automated control systems.
