Job summary

Visy is seeking a Shift Electrician to support plant reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-tech facility in Australia. The role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern and includes training on PLC fault finding to enhance fault resolution capabilities.

You will perform breakdown, preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, and collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise plant

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical License is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments is required.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Proactive, safety-first approach to maintenance is expected.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

As a Shift Electrician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring plant reliability, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe and efficient production.

• Rotating Shift Pattern (12hr)
• Training provided on PLC fault finding
