Job summary

Visy is seeking a skilled Fitter Operator to run and maintain production machinery in a highly automated, FMCG environment. You will ensure reliable equipment performance and contribute to a safe, efficient production line.

The role requires a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with a Certificate III or equivalent and experience in FMCG manufacturing. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, solve mechanical faults, and support continuous improvement initiatives on a 12-hour rotating

About The Opportunity

As a Fitter Operator, you’ll run production machines and equipment to keep the line operating safely and smoothly. You’ll also use your trade skills to maintain, repair and improve plant machinery, ensuring reliable performance and minimal downtime.

• Rotating Shift: 12‑hour shifts on a 3‑week rotating roster (5.5‑day week)
