Job summary

Shangri-La Sydney in The Rocks invites aspiring chefs to join its Culinary Department as Apprentice Chef – Breakfast Service (Café Mix Kitchen). This entry-level role is ideal for early risers who want to learn in a fast-paced, high-volume breakfast environment, with support from experienced professionals in a world-class hotel.

You will help prepare breakfast dishes, assist with mise en place, maintain quality and safety standards, and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen preferred for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking breakfast dishes for buffet and à la carte service.
• Support mise en place and ensure smooth morning operations.
