Job summary

Shura is seeking four Application Support Engineers for a high profile Australian government department in Canberra. You will provide Level 2 and 3 application and systems support, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance and deploy updates onsite.

The role requires Australian citizenship and an active NV1 clearance, with full-time onsite work five days a week. Key skills include PowerShell automation, T-SQL/SQL databases, Windows Server, Linux, Azure DevOps, and ITIL/SDLC familiarity.

Qualifications

In this role you will perform the following tasks but not limited to:

• Monitor systems and improve reliability and performance.
• Investigate, resolve and document technical issues.
• Deploy software updates, patches and fixes.
• Support projects, testing and technical documentation.

To be successful, you must have the following skills experiences:

• Strong application troubleshooting and complex problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PowerShell automation, T-SQL and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of SDLC and ITIL service management processes.
• Windows Server, Linux and Azure DevOps experience.
• Strong communication, prioritisation and risk management skills.
• NV1 security clearance.

You must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV1 security clearance to be eligible. This Canberra-based role requires full-time onsite attendance, five days per week.
