Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking an Application Support Software Engineer for a Federal Government client in Canberra. You will diagnose, test and resolve customer issues, and work closely with software development teams.

The role requires PowerShell scripting, T-SQL database skills, understanding of SDLC and ITIL incident, problem, change and release processes, and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and customer issue resolution experience.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and task automation.
• Intermediate T-SQL skills and experience with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and ITIL Incident/Problem/Change/Release Management.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Strong technical skills and experience with application troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing and resolving customer issues.
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell) and task automation.
• Intermediate Transact SQL (T-SQL) skills and strong experience with SQL database products.
• Experience working with software development teams and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management processes.
