City of Gold Coast is seeking an Application Support Analyst to align with the EH&R portfolio, supporting environmental management, resilience services and corporate functions. The role emphasizes application delivery, user experience and accessibility within an enterprise environment.

You will work with internal teams and vendors to maintain critical systems, drive upgrades, and ensure reliability and security while delivering value to the organisation and its customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management practices.
• Familiarity with software development and testing methodologies (Agile preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on service quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance the City’s business applications.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, assist with upgrades and enhancements, and ensure stability and functionality of critical applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors and stakeholders to ensure platforms are reliable, secure, compliant and accessible.
