Job summary

Teradata is seeking an experienced AI Sales Engineer to act as the regional AI specialist for APJ, guiding customers through enterprise AI demonstrations and PoCs. You will partner with sales teams to accelerate AI adoption and build scalable demonstration assets.

You will collaborate with product management and engineering to influence roadmaps and deliver live AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, and vector databases across multiple markets in Australia, Japan, ASEAN, Korea, and Taiwan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.
• Proven track record leading enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design to delivery and business outcomes.
• Hands-on expertise with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, and AI workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Act as regional AI specialist for APJ, driving AI opportunities across markets.
• Lead demonstrations, technical workshops, and PoC engagements.
• Collaborate with sales teams, product management, and engineering to create reusable assets and best practices.
