Job summary

Teradata is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to serve as the regional AI specialist for Asia Pacific and Japan. You will drive enterprise AI demonstrations, lead proof-of-concept engagements, and provide architectural guidance to accelerate AI adoption across APJ markets including Australia, Japan, ASEAN, Korea and Taiwan.

You will partner with Sales, CSAs, and product teams to build scalable AI demonstration frameworks, develop reusable assets, and help customers realize measurable business

Qualifications

8+ years in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering or related customer-facing tech roles.
Experience leading enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design to delivery.
Hands-on expertise with LLMs, RAG, vector search and AI workflow orchestration.
Strong Python and SQL skills with ability to build and present live demos.

Responsibilities

Lead AI-focused customer engagements and demonstrations across APJ.
Collaborate with Sales, CSAs, Product and Engineering to influence roadmaps.
Develop reusable AI demonstration assets and best-practice documentation.
Deliver architectural guidance and ensure customer outcomes across multiple markets.
