Based in Australia, Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Senior Manager Training & Capability APAC to lead capability, learning, and competency frameworks across the Asia Pacific region. Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Learning & Development, Training, or Capability functions in complex operations.
• Designs capability frameworks, workforce development strategies, and competency-based programs.
• Strong understanding of governance, assessment, and verification of competencies.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational change across diverse environments.
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC training and capability strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and workforce requirements.
• Design and implement capability frameworks, competency models, and development pathways across the region.
• Drive workforce capability uplift initiatives that improve operational performance and employee effectiveness.
• Establish governance, assurance, and competency verification frameworks to support business risk and compliance requirements.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Ensure training programs align with operational, safety, and quality standards across multiple business functions.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, capability development, and performance improvement throughout the organisation.
