Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Senior Manager Training & Capability APAC based in Australia. You will lead development of capability, learning, and competency frameworks across APAC, partnering with senior leaders to build workforce capability and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Learning & Development, Training, or Capability functions in logistics, automation, engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Proven ability to design capability frameworks, development pathways, and competency-based programs.
• Knowledge of competency assurance, assessment, verification, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC training and capability strategy, aligning with business goals and workforce requirements.
• Design and implement capability frameworks, competency models, and development pathways across the region.
• Drive workforce capability uplift initiatives to improve operational performance.
• Establish governance, assurance, and competency verification frameworks to support risk and compliance.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Ensure training programs align with safety, quality standards across functions.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement throughout the organization.
