Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics, formed from Bastian Solutions, Vanderlande’s warehousing business, and viastore, is seeking a Senior Manager – Training and Capability APAC based in Australia. You will lead the development of capability, learning, and competency frameworks across the APAC region, partnering with business and operational leaders to build workforce capability and drive operational excellence.

Extensive experience leading Learning & Development, Training, or Capability functions in complex operational environments.
Experience designing capability frameworks, workforce development strategies, and competency-based programs.
Strong understanding of competency assurance, assessment, verification, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead the APAC training and capability strategy aligned with business goals and workforce requirements.
Design and implement capability frameworks, competency models, and development pathways across the region.
Drive workforce capability uplift initiatives to improve operational performance and employee effectiveness.
Establish governance and verification frameworks to support risk and compliance requirements.
Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
Ensure training programs align with safety, quality, and operational standards across functions.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement across the organization.
