Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Strategy & Planning Lead for APAC Delivery Central to guide a six-person team across governance, planning, growth bets, and market intelligence.

In a player-coach role, you will shape standards, tools, and operating rhythms for the region and partner countries. You will partner with senior leaders to identify high-impact initiatives, build cross-APAC prioritisation, and ensure efficient headcount and capital allocation.

• 10+ years in strategy, operations, or consulting with a track record of leading high-impact initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a six-person APAC S&P team across Governance & Planning, Strategic Initiatives & Growth Bets, and Market Intelligence.
• Establish end-to-end APAC delivery governance, and lead half-year and full-year planning cycles.
• Own data-to-insights generation for competition and market intelligence across APAC delivery.
• Incubate, assess, and recommend top strategic initiatives as they emerge.
• Build initial cross-APAC prioritisation, including sizing and go-to-market planning.
• Drive APAC-wide geographic prioritisation principles and capital allocation insights.
• Manage headcount governance and partner with country S&P teams.
• Define roles between central S&P and country S&P across streams.
• Synthesize inputs from operations, product, finance, and country GMs into clear recommendations.
