Red Hat is seeking a Sales Specialist for OpenShift focusing on Application Platform & AI Enterprise in Australia, New Zealand, and APAC. You will drive commercial growth, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and build executive-level business cases to expand AI adoption and platform-scale deployments.

The role emphasizes closing complex enterprise deals, influencing CIOs and line-of-business leaders, and guiding customers through modern cloud-native architectures and Software Factory workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience closing complex, high-stakes enterprise platform deals.
• Ability to present to executive stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containers, and AI workloads.
• Experience selling across Australia, New Zealand and APAC regions.

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end sales strategy for major opportunities, orchestrating technical specialists and partner ecosystems to secure the technical close and grow subscriptions.
• Expand enterprise AI adoption by showing clients how to deploy, manage, and scale autonomous agent workflows on a unified hybrid platform.
• Capitalise on the Lightwell initiative to accelerate OpenShift sales, positioning the platform as the delivery vehicle to ingest, validate, and roll out patched libraries at machine speed.
• Position Software Factory capabilities as the definitive solution for organisations with strict security mandates and continuous compliance requirements.
• Build credible economic business cases for executive buyers, proving lower total cost of ownership and accelerated developer delivery.
