Job summary

Red Hat is seeking a Hybrid Sales Specialist for OpenShift to drive enterprise platform deals across Australia, New Zealand and APAC. You will present a trusted, cloud-native strategy to C-level, engineering leaders and architects, positioning OpenShift as the secure, hybrid delivery platform for production AI workloads.

You will build a multi-quarter pipeline, articulate economic value, and guide customers through modernising legacy systems to Kubernetes-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and closing complex, high-stakes enterprise platform deals involving multiple technical and commercial decision-makers.
• Proven public speaking and cloud-native evangelism to inspire executives.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, enterprise container platforms, and modern developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end sales strategy for major opportunities, coordinating technical specialists and partners to secure the technical close.
• Expand enterprise AI adoption by guiding customers on deployment, management, and scaling on a unified platform.
• Capitalize on the Lightwell initiative to accelerate OpenShift sales and roll out patched libraries rapidly.
• Position Software Factory capabilities as the solution for security mandates and continuous compliance.
• Build credible business cases for executives, showing lower TCO and faster developer delivery.
• Guide modernization from legacy platforms to cloud-native container architectures.
• Collaborate with Account Teams to shape strategic plans and align priorities with platform strategy.
• Enable and mentor teams on current OpenShift plays and partner blueprints.
