Job summary

Apex Group in Sydney seeks a Client Onboarding Manager to lead onboarding and integration of new clients in the APAC region. The role involves high client interaction across Service Delivery, Technology, Product Management, Sales, and Senior Management to ensure compliant and timely onboarding.

The ideal candidate has basic funds industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while improving onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of funds industry including corporate solutions, hedge funds and private equity funds.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactive improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and integrate new clients in APAC with focus on funds services and compliance.
• Coordinate internal functions (Service Delivery, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Tech) for launches and transitions.
• Provide regular onboarding status updates to clients and internal teams.
• Host project calls and maintain plans to track progress and milestones.
• Support senior management with updates and KPI reporting; assist in regional WIP tracking.
• Develop best practices and operating models for onboarding and ensure adherence to KYC policies.
• Assist with integrating acquired businesses to ensure consistent onboarding across entities.
• Perform ad hoc tasks and contribute to onboarding enhancements for new product lines.
