Job summary

Motion is hiring a commercially driven Category Manager to lead category growth across the Asia Pacific region. You will report to the General Manager and develop category strategies that increase sales, margins and market share while collaborating with sales, supply chain, marketing, engineering, customers and suppliers.

You will drive product ranging, pricing and supplier relationships, deliver training, and identify new products and acquisition opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical expertise within Industrial Bearings.
• Experience developing category or strategic sales plans.
• Strong commercial acumen and supplier relationship experience.
• Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies, sales plans and promotions.
• Grow category sales, profit and market share across APAC.
• Manage product ranges, pricing, supplier relationships and home-brand growth.
• Partner with sales, supply chain and marketing to improve inventory and performance.
• Lead and support Product Managers and Business Development Managers.
