Job summary

Motion is seeking a commercially driven Category Manager – Industrial Bearings to lead APAC category growth. You will collaborate with sales, supply chain, marketing, engineering, customers and suppliers to deliver commercial outcomes and strengthen product offerings.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop category strategies that grow sales, margins and market share, while leading Product Managers and cross-functional teams. Travel monthly as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical expertise within Industrial Bearings.
• Ability to undertake domestic and international travel as required, typically on a monthly basis.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience developing category or strategic sales plans.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, product ranges, pricing and category performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies, sales plans and promotional activities.
• Grow category sales, profit and market share across the APAC region.
• Manage product ranging, pricing, supplier relationships and home-brand growth.
• Partner with sales, supply chain and marketing teams to improve inventory, sales performance and customer outcomes.
• Deliver product training and technical support to internal teams and customers.
• Identify new products, suppliers, customer opportunities and potential acquisition targets.
• Lead and support Product Managers, Assistant Product Managers and Business Development Managers.
