Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific Pty seeks a commercially driven Category Manager - Industrial Bearings to lead category growth across the APAC region. You will report to the General Manager, develop and execute category strategies, and collaborate with sales, supply chain, marketing, engineering, customers and suppliers to deliver commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical expertise within Industrial Bearings
• Ability to undertake domestic and international travel as required
• Strong commercial acumen and experience developing category or strategic sales plans
• Experience managing supplier relationships, product ranges, pricing and category performance
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Confidence managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI; ERP and CRM experience is valued
• A safety-focused, collaborative and customer-driven approach

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies, sales plans and promotional activities
• Grow category sales, profit and market share across the APAC region
• Manage product ranging, pricing, supplier relationships and home-brand growth
• Partner with sales, supply chain and marketing teams to improve inventory and sales performance
• Deliver product training and technical support to internal teams and customers
• Identify new products, suppliers, customer opportunities and potential acquisitions
• Lead and support Product Managers, Assistant Product Managers and Business Development Managers
