Job summary

The Crowd is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to strengthen its presence across the Asia Pacific region. You will work with senior leadership to identify new opportunities, engage clients and drive strategic work-winning initiatives.

The role involves market research, industry networking and coordinating BD campaigns while maintaining robust CRM records. Hybrid working offers exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams in a dynamic design practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar BD role within architecture or built environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Existing network in architecture/design is advantageous.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support business development strategies and work-winning initiatives across the region.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, relevant organisations, emerging sectors and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate targeted business development campaigns and client engagement activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, clients and industry contacts to strengthen the practice’s market presence.
• Identify relevant networking opportunities.
• Research and coordinate strategic B2B meetings, including preparing briefings, background research and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking business development activity.
• Work closely with senior leadership and internal teams to identify opportunities for collaboration and support work-winning activityMonitor industry trends and market developments to identify potential areas for growth.
• Collaborate with the central marketing team on collateral.
