Cadence Connect in Brisbane is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Officer on an 8-week contract to support a fast-paced finance team. You will manage high-volume supplier invoices, reconcile discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in AP or similar, strong attention to detail, and solid Excel skills. NetSuite experience is advantageous, and you will thrive in a collaborative environment with a proactive, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and team-focused approach.
• NetSuite experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Available to commit to an 8-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume creditor and vendor invoices, including PO matching and investigating discrepancies.
• Process stock vendor invoices and claims and resolve discrepancies.
• Process and verify employee expense reimbursements.
• Prepare and process creditor payments accurately and on time.
• Manage supplier queries and resolve account issues.
• Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations and provisions.
• Maintain accurate AP records and provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a high-performing finance team on an 8-week contract.

Reporting to the AP Manager, you’ll support the end-to-end accounts payable function within a busy, fast-paced environment. This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, has strong attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

The Role
