Wellways is seeking an AOD Wellbeing Navigator Peer in the Greater Shepparton region. You will draw on your lived experience of substance use to build respectful relationships, provide peer support, and help participants access services that matter to them.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering one-on-one support, group sessions, and care planning. The role emphasizes recovery, hope, and community connections, with a values-based, inclusive workplace.

Formación

• Personal lived experience of substance use or addiction and recovery.
• Ability to use lived experience to build connection with empathy and understanding.
• Willingness to undertake required training and use of experience in support.

Responsabilidades

• Provide intentional, strengths-based peer support including AOD peer support.
• Offer one-on-one support and care planning.
• Facilitate group peer sessions to build connection and confidence.
• Support engagement and self-advocacy with clinical services.
• Build relationships with local AOD and community support services.
