Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia in Bendigo is seeking a Team Leader - Non-Residential AOD Services to guide a dedicated Bendigo-based team delivering intake, assessments and counselling for AOD clients. You will combine clinical expertise with people leadership to ensure service excellence and strong frontline impact.

You will oversee care planning, coordinate services, and support staff development while maintaining compliance with funding requirements.

Qualifications

• Leadership of multidisciplinary AOD teams.
• Experience in supervision/mentoring staff.
• Experience with assessment, counselling and recovery-oriented practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of AOD practitioners delivering intake, assessments and counselling.
• Provide clinical oversight and professional guidance to staff.
• Manage service performance, quality standards and outcomes.
• Facilitate team meetings, supervision and staff development.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partner agencies.
