Amazon is hiring an Corporate EHS Manager to lead the ANZ programs, partnering with regional teams to implement Global EHS policies while ensuring WHS and HSWA compliance across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive continuous improvement, train business leaders, and foster a culture of safety for associates and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience with Australian WHS legislation and NZ HSWA.
• 6+ years in EHS management, corporate safety or related field.
• Ability to travel within Australia, New Zealand and APAC as required.
• Fluent English and strong stakeholder management with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive EHS strategic improvements across ANZ with Regional EHS Manager, APAC.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and HSWA; monitor changes and advise the business.
• Lead internal audit processes aligned to global/regional objectives with regulators.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessment and control; manage psychosocial risk programs.
• Manage EHS vendors and liaise with Legal, HR, Facilities; support WHS obligations.
• Deliver EHS training programs; coordinate drills; ensure first aid provisions across sites.
• Develop emergency management plans aligned to AS 3745; coordinate drills.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives including waste management and energy efficiency.
• Prepare and manage ANZ EHS budgets; provide regular performance reporting.
