Job summary

Cater Care Group is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to lead the Mad Mex team at Sydney Domestic Airport. This permanent full-time role (38 hours per week) is ideal for hospitality, retail or kitchen professionals ready to advance into leadership.

You’ll manage shifts, ensure smooth operations, deliver top service, support food preparation, uphold food safety standards and contribute to team development. RSA and Food Safety Supervisor qualifications are required, with start times from 5.00am.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach and positive attitude.
• Strong customer service and communication.
• Experience in retail, hospitality and/or kitchen operations and key-holder duties.
• RSA and Food Safety Supervisor qualifications.
• Availability for 5.00am starts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during each shift.
• Coordinate smooth and efficient daily restaurant operations.
• Deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
• Support food preparation, kitchen operations and bulk cooking.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation.
• Support team training and development.
• Manage competing priorities across customer service, kitchen and retail operations.
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive team environment.
