Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Sydney, Banksmeadow, is seeking an Air Transport Coordinator to coordinate air import deliveries, ensuring safe, compliant, on-time shipments and budget adherence. You will liaise with airlines, GHAs, and transport providers to maintain seamless freight movements and proactive customer updates.

The role requires experience in airfreight operations, documentation management, and a customer-focused approach to enhance service outcomes and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight import operations and freight forwarding environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate with airlines, GHAs, and transport providers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end coordination of air import deliveries, ensuring collection, release, and on-time delivery within service windows.
• Partner with airlines, GHAs, and transport providers to ensure efficient freight movements.
• Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed with proactive shipment updates.
• Create and manage transport documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain shipment information, milestones, and POD records in Freight Management Systems.
• Monitor transport-related costs, support invoicing, cost control and reconciliation.
• Validate supplier invoices against agreed rates and escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Coordinate duty, tax, and COD payment processes to support cargo release.
