Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight import operations and leading operational teams in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proficiency with freight management systems, including CargoWise.
• Experience working with airlines, GHAs and transport providers to coordinate freight movements.
• Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive shipments while meeting deadlines.
• Strong administrative, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate end-to-end air import deliveries, ensuring timely collection, release and delivery.
• Collaborate with airlines, GHAs and transport providers for efficient freight movements.
• Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed on shipment progress and outcomes.
• Create and manage transport documentation in compliance with requirements.
• Maintain shipment data, milestones and POD records in freight systems.
• Monitor transport costs and support invoicing, cost control and reconciliation.
• Verify supplier invoices against rates, escalating discrepancies as needed.
• Coordinate duty, tax and COD payments to support cargo release.
