Job summary

Freestyle Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our Newcastle team in NSW. This full-time role based in Newcastle NSW 2300 offers installation, maintenance and repair services for residential, commercial and industrial clients, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Applicants should have current F-Gas certification and 3-5 years' experience, strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read schematics, a valid licence and willingness to travel across

Qualifications

• Current F-Gas or equivalent refrigeration certification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an air conditioning technician or refrigeration engineer.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, components and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics and system manuals.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Newcastle region.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential, commercial and industrial clients.
• Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance on units and equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
• Read blueprints and system specifications; test performance and adjust for efficiency.

Freestyle Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our growing team in Newcastle, NSW. This is a full-time position based in Newcastle NSW 2300, offering an exciting opportunity to work with leading air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services to our valued commercial and residential clients. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction across the Newcastle region.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential, commercial and industrial clients


• Diagnose technical faults and perform preventative maintenance on air conditioning units and associated equipment


• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and industry standards


• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and system specifications


• Test system performance and carry out necessary adjustments to optimise efficiency


• Maintain detailed records of all work completed and provide clients with comprehensive reports


• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide reliable customer service


• Work safely with refrigerants and other hazardous materials in compliance with environmental regulations


• Collaborate with team members and support the delivery of projects on time and to specification

What we're looking for
