Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent experience.
• EPA licence for handling refrigerants or willingness to obtain one.
• Proven experience installing, servicing and repairing commercial and/or residential cooling systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to refrigeration equipment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential clients.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot system malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

About the role

We are seeking experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians to join our growing team at our Caringbah, NSW location. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial and residential cooling systems. Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential clients
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot system malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools
• Perform preventative maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Conduct system commissioning and handover procedures for newly installed equipment
• Comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental legislation, and industry standards, including refrigerant handling protocols
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and service times
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining technical issues and recommended solutions in clear, understandable terms
• Work independently and as part of a team, managing workload efficiently and meeting service schedules
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning, such as a Certificate III or IV in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or equivalent experience
• Current EPA (Environmental Protection Authority) licence for handling refrigerants, or willingness to obtain one
• Proven experience installing, servicing, and repairing commercial and/or residential cooling systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components relating to refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and testing tools
• Understanding of relevant Australian safety standards and environmental regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport for travelling to client sites
• Physical fitness, as the role involves working in various environments and lifting equipment
