Job summary

Teradata is seeking an experienced AI Sales Engineer to act as the regional AI specialist for Asia Pacific and Japan. You will help customers realize the value of enterprise AI through demonstrations, workshops, PoCs, and architectural guidance, supporting Enterprise and Growth sales across APJ.

The role focuses on accelerating AI adoption, delivering scalable demonstration frameworks, and building assets that elevate the technical capabilities of the presales team across Australia, Japan,

Qualifications

8+ years in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering, data engineering or related technical role.
Experience leading enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design through delivery.

Responsibilities

Serve as regional AI expert across APJ, supporting strategic opportunities where AI is a primary evaluation criterion.
Deliver compelling demonstrations, workshops, PoCs and architectural guidance to customers.
Collaborate with Enterprise and Growth sales teams to accelerate AI adoption and customer outcomes.
Create reusable AI demonstrations and technical assets for the presales organization.
