Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. seeks an AI Sales Engineer to advance AI Security solutions in Australia, collaborating with the AI Sales Specialist to drive GTM strategy and expand greenfield opportunities.

You will train regional Sales Engineers, support technical discovery, and lead customer engagements—architectural reviews, demos, and POCs—to ensure successful deployments of Fortinet's AI security offerings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales experience in AI or related tech.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience engaging with technical evaluators (cloud/AI security engineers, data scientists, AI/ML architects).
• Understanding of core AI technologies (ML, DL, generative AI).
• Experience deploying production apps on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to travel up to 50% to develop customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales activities with the AI Sales Specialist to shape GTM for AI Security in the region.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and demos.
• Provide technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs to drive sales outcomes.
• Assist customers with deploying AI Security solutions in self-hosted environments.
• Maintain demo environments and certifications, and develop training materials.
