Fortinet Australia is seeking a passionate AI Sales Engineer to support the technical execution for our rapidly growing AI security solutions. This critical pre-sales role accelerates the adoption of solutions that secure the creation and use of AI applications, including homegrown AI and popular agentic AI tools.

You will partner with the AI Sales Specialist to shape GTM strategy, enable and train regional Sales Engineers, support discovery, architecture reviews, POCs, and deployments, and

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, including AI/related tech
• Experience engaging with technical evaluators such as cloud/AI security engineers and data scientists
• Understanding of core AI technologies including ML, DL, and generative AI
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workloads; Kubernetes (EKS/GKE)
• Deep understanding of AI security concepts (access controls, identity, network integration, EDR, red-teaming, guardrails)
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and AI infrastructure and security implications is preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Experience deploying production applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to travel up to 50% to develop customer relationships and opportunities

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical architecture reviews and integration evaluations
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical training
• Support discovery, POCs, and successful sales outcomes
• Assist customers with deploying AI security solutions in self-hosted environments
• Maintain demos, certifications, and training materials
• Engage partners and resellers with technical resources to close opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and close AI security business
• Coordinate post-sales handovers for successful deployment and customer success
• Cultivate relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and AI leaders
• Educate customers on agentic AI best practices and Fortinet AI leadership
