Firmus Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Platform Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a 24/7 reliability team across regions. You will manage incident response, drive runbooks, automation, and service-level improvements while guiding engineers through complex faults and RCA processes.

The role requires deep experience in SRE, Linux-based infrastructure, and ITSM tooling, with a focus on scalable, production-ready platforms. Based in Australia or Singapore with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large-scale 24/7 operations (SRE/production engineering).
• Experience with incident management, recovery and incident post-mortems.
• Strong automation mindset: runbooks, guard automation, and permanent fixes.
• Hands-on technical depth to guide complex faults and validate resolutions.
• Experience with ITSM tooling and service-level reporting.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the platform reliability team across regions.
• Oversee 24/7 on-call rotation and incident command during major incidents.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex faults and drive RCA quality.
• Manage service level objectives and report performance to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define escalation paths and improvements.
• Drive runbook and automation work to reduce toil and speed recovery.
• Mentor engineers and develop career paths within the team.
• Ensure new services are production-ready and properly documented.
