Job summary

Talent Corp is expanding its Global Technical Operations hub in Sydney and recruiting a Service Reliability Engineer (SRE). This role blends software engineering with reliability, automation, and scalability in a global environment.

You will stabilise platforms, automate infra, and drive modern observability. Expect on-call rotations and close collaboration with Dev, Infra, and Security teams in a high-impact setting.

Qualifications

• Background in Linux/Windows systems administration in large-scale environments.
• Hands-on programming experience in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong networking, containers, and Infrastructure as Code knowledge.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana.
• Calm, collaborative communicator with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-availability, high-performance systems for global applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Build observability and monitoring frameworks with industry tools.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliability and faster deployments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate across Dev, Infra, and Security teams to improve reliability.
