Job summary

Choice Ventures seeks an exceptional General Manager in Australia who will partner with the CEO to scale a technology-enabled business. This broad role spans operations, technology, product, delivery, people and commercial performance, with a focus on transforming strategy into execution and building scalable, lean structures.

You will lead a high-performing team and shape how AI and automation drive growth, efficiency and competitive advantage in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

10+ years in operations, general management or senior leadership, ideally in a tech-enabled scaleup.
Experience scaling businesses, building teams and implementing systems from the ground up.
Active embrace of AI, automation and emerging technologies to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

Translate company strategy into clear priorities, OKRs and measurable outcomes.
Build operating rhythms, accountability and cross-functional alignment for rapid execution.
Lead planning and operational readiness ahead of the next growth phase and Series B.
Oversee growth from 20 to 100 people with robust processes and lean structures.
Champion an AI-first mindset and leverage tech to improve productivity and scale.
Develop and lead a multidisciplinary team across operations, product and delivery.
Own budgets, KPIs and investor reporting to support Series B readiness.
