BusinessAI is Australia’s first full-service AI automation partner, delivering practical AI solutions for SMBs. We are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead delivery, architecture, and the technical roadmap.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team across onshore and offshore delivery, drive TDD, CI/CD, and scalable AI components, and partner with the Director of AI on strategy and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams in SaaS or AI environments.
• Hands-on engineering with production-grade solutions for external customers.
• Strong Python API development and experience with REST/GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery across customer engagements and internal platform development.
• Write code, prototype solutions, and establish engineering best practices.
• Design scalable AI components, APIs, and orchestration frameworks.
• Mentor onshore and offshore teams and drive engineering standards.
