Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a Detection Engineer to join a small, global team focused on developing our threat detection model deck while responding to customer requests and incidents. You will review and process cyber threat intelligence and work on expanding model coverage, including Endpoint and Kubernetes.

The role requires hands-on experience with Darktrace products, the Platform model editor, and a proactive, self-driven approach to improvement. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using the Darktrace product suite to investigate model alerts and traffic.
• Experience with the Platform model editor, helping customers create or tune custom models.
• Ability to work independently, pro-actively drive model deck improvements.

Responsibilities

• Build out new model decks for areas like Endpoint and Kubernetes.
• Address customer queries and respond to cyber incidents with priority on time-sensitive issues.
• Analyse cybersecurity incidents to identify improvements for the model deck.
• Self-drive development of new models and improvements to existing models.
• Collaborate with Development, Analyst, and customer-facing teams.
• Develop and enhance internal tooling and processes.
