Job summary

RMS is building the Core Platform team to rethink how software gets built, using spec-driven development with AI-assisted engineering. You will help shape this approach within the Core Platform, the most complex portion of our property management system.

You'll own architecture decisions across React front ends, C#, VB.Net services, and PostgreSQL/MS-SQL databases, and mentor others while shaping testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience building complex full-stack apps in C# or VB.Net and React.
• Strong PostgreSQL and MS-SQL skills: design, query optimisation, data correctness.
• Experience designing APIs and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Solid testing habits: unit and integration testing, Playwright.
• Owning and validating AI-generated output for production safety.
• Clear communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Write specifications and acceptance criteria for AI agents.
• Own and validate AI-generated code for production readiness.
• Build and optimise features across React front ends, C#, VB.Net services, PostgreSQL and MS-SQL databases.
• Tune queries, APIs and back-end processes for performance as the platform scales.
• Shape architecture, integration patterns and testing strategy with design, product and senior engineers.
• Mentor junior developers and evolve AI-assisted development standards.
