Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and operate comprehensive production systems across frontend, APIs, backend, data, and AI components. You will own the architecture, deployment, and security controls, working with cloud platforms and AI-native methods.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, translate ambiguous requirements into executable increments, and choreograph CI/CD, testing, and production safeguards. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience across multiple layers of the stack, from frontend/API to backend services and data.
• Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in Java, Python, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on production experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform/Helm).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines through to production with automated testing and security controls.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience designing AI-enabled or agentic systems in production or near-production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production systems across frontend, APIs, backend services, integration, data, infrastructure, and AI components.
• Diagnose production issues across code, networks, infrastructure, data, and AI workloads.
• Design and deploy cloud workloads using containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and IaC, with emphasis on elasticity and resilience.
• Own DevSecOps and production engineering, implementing automated pipelines, testing, and secure deployment practices.
• Engineer data and context architectures for transactional, streaming, analytical, and unstructured data.
