Employment Hero is hiring a Marketing Operations Specialist—Remote—to architect a next‑gen marketing engine powered by Marketo and AI. You will replace manual processes with autonomous workflows, reduce friction, and drive scalable, data‑driven outcomes across marketing and sales functions.

You’ll orchestrate platform management, lead investigations, and cross‑functional alignment while focusing on removing technical debt and delivering measurable impact for a dynamic, remote‑first organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Marketing Automation Platforms (Marketo preferred) in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• Experience building AI-first agentic workflows to automate MarOps processes.
• Strong Salesforce integration knowledge and data flow understanding.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Proactive problem-solving with a systems-thinking mindset.
• Excellent autonomous work style with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Marketo instance to ensure uptime and scalable processes.
• Investigate funnel leakage, troubleshoot routing, scoring, and sync issues with Salesforce.
• Drive continuous Marketo optimisation and AI-driven automation.
• Align marketing, sales, and business processes; translate requirements into data constraints.
• Oversee high-level project work to overhaul and simplify Marketo architecture.
• Lead List Operations (2 direct reports) focusing on data hygiene and segmentation.
• Maintain thorough documentation of systems and workflows.
