Job summary

UpGuard is hiring an AI & Automation Analyst in Australia to map how teams work, redesign processes for AI, and implement practical automation. You will work with the lead analyst and engineers to define requirements, build the A2 harness, and deliver lightweight automations that scale.

You will shape the shared context, Skills, connectors, and light automations so the team can work smarter from day one. A fast learner who communicates clearly will thrive in this pivotal role.

Qualifications

Fluent with AI tools and automation concepts; able to map processes and requirements clearly.
Strong communication skills to interview teams and write precise specs.
Able to think critically and simplify complex business problems into steps.

Responsibilities

Perform process discovery with analysts to map as-is and to-be workflows.
Build and own the A2 harness and documentation for AI tools and workflows.
Redesign workflows to embed AI, select Skills, connectors, and automations.
Create production-grade specs when engineering is needed.
Estimate business impact and prioritize automation releases across teams.
Continuously evolve processes and harness with changing AI capabilities.
