Job summary

The Bethanie Group is seeking an experienced Qualified Support Worker to provide services in the Upper South Metro area, from Fremantle to Atwell, across to Harrisdale and up to Victoria Park. You will deliver personal care, meals, cleaning, and social activities with a focus on client wellbeing.

Applicants should have aged care or community care experience, a current driver’s licence, and be willing to obtain vaccinations and a National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or community care environment.
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of services including food preparation, cleaning and laundry, personal care, and supporting hobbies and leisure activities.
• Keep living areas clean, tidy and safe from hazards.
• Document personal care tasks and outcomes.
• Support clients with transport to appointments.
• Provide social support by spending time doing activities clients love.
• Prioritise a personal connection with clients, showing respect and compassion.
