Job summary

Bethanie is seeking a qualified support worker to provide in-home and community care across the North Central Metro area, from Balcatta to West Perth and beyond. The role is permanent part-time with a guaranteed 25 hours per week and Monday–Friday 10am–6pm availability.

You will deliver services such as meals, personal care, cleaning, and transport, maintain safety, document outcomes, and provide social support.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or community care environments.
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver services including food preparation, cleaning and laundry, personal care, and supporting hobbies and leisure activities.
• Keep living areas clean, tidy and safe from hazards.
• Document personal care tasks and outcomes.
• Support clients with transport to appointments.
• Provide social support by spending time on activities they love.
• Maintain a respectful, compassionate personal connection with clients.

We are currently seeking a Qualified Support Worker to provide services in the North Central Metro area, from Balcatta to West Perth and across to Mount Lawley and their surrounds.

The role:

• Permanent part time employment
• 25 guaranteed minimum hours per week
• You must be available Monday to Friday from 10am –6pm.

As you will be required to use your own car in this role, we offer a travel allowance of $1.05 per kilometre.

About You

• Previous experience working in an aged care or communitycare environment
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to applyfor one)

The Role

• Professionally deliver a variety of services including foodpreparation, cleaning and laundry services, personal care, aswell as supporting hobbies, interests and leisureactivities
• Ensure all living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean,tidy and safe from hazards
• Ensure all personal care tasks and outcomes are met anddocumented appropriately
