Job summary

Bethanie Home Care in Western Australia is seeking an Unqualified Support Worker to assist in-home aged care across the Lower South Metro area, from Port Kennedy to Rockingham. You will help with personal care, meals, domestic tasks and social activities to enable clients to live independently at home.

You must be available on a permanent part-time basis, about 15 hours per week, with shifts 9am–3pm Tuesday to Friday, and you will travel to clients using your own car (travel allowance provided).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aged care or community care is preferred.
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply).
• Proof of at least one Covid vaccination and 2026 flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of services including personal care, domestic tasks, cleaning and laundry.
• Support hobbies, interests and social activities to promote client wellbeing.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and document tasks and outcomes.
• Provide transport assistance to appointments and social activities.
• Build personal connections with clients, showing respect and compassion.
