Job summary

Trinity Public Care Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Rostering Officer for residential aged care homes. This contract role involves creating and managing staff rosters, ensuring adequate staffing, compliance with awards and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with managers to meet capacity needs.

The ideal candidate will have rostering/scheduling experience in aged care or community services, strong organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing rostering

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering or scheduling within aged care or community services.
• Solid understanding of aged care legislation, awards and industrial relations.
• Proficient with rostering software and payroll systems.
• Excellent organisation, time management and data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for all staff levels.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage staff rosters for residential aged care homes across shifts.
• Coordinate staffing requirements with managers and leaders.
• Ensure rostering decisions comply with awards and regulations.
• Manage leave requests and other absences; monitor payroll data.
• Respond to last‑minute changes while maintaining service quality.
• Maintain rostering records and produce management reports.
• Contribute to workforce planning and equitable rostering practices.
