Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT - Penrith Thornton Park is seeking a Registered Nurse (Division 1) for a permanent part-time role (75h/fortnight). You will assess and plan resident care, develop care plans, and contribute to quarterly reviews within a collaborative team in Penrith.

Requirements include current AHPRA registration, 1 year aged care RN experience, and commitment to high-quality, person-centred care, with full working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and practicing nurse in Australia.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in aged care.
• Strong commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
• Solid understanding of State and Commonwealth aged care legislation.
• Full availability for required shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments and plan care.
• Develop and review individualized resident care plans.
• Participate in quarterly care plan reviews or more often if needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with policies and standards.
• Ensure accurate ACFI submissions and claims.
