Job summary

Randstad Australia is partnering with aged care providers in New South Wales to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse for permanent roles in residential care. You will deliver high-quality clinical care, assess residents, and participate in care planning, while supervising ENs and PCAs on shift.

We welcome applicants with current AHPRA RN registration, relevant aged care experience, and availability across AM, PM and night shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration current and unrestricted.
• Proven RN experience in Australian residential aged care.
• Australian work rights with no visa sponsorship offered.
• Must be available across AM, PM, and Night shifts (ND) including rotating weekends.
• Minimum of 3 shifts/week part-time or 5 shifts/week full-time.
• Current National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening and up-to-date immunisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard clinical care, health assessments, and care planning for residents.

• Mentor and supervise Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) on shift.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation using electronic care systems.
• Respond effectively to clinical changes, incidents, and care escalations.

Essential Criteria (Must Have)

• AHPRA Registration: Current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Aged Care Experience: Proven experience as an RN within an Australian residential aged care setting.
• Australian Work Rights: Full, unrestricted Australian working rights. No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
• Flexible Availability: Must be available and flexible across AM, PM, and Night shifts (ND), including rotating weekend work.
• Shift Commitment: Available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week for Part-Time or 5 shifts per week for Full-Time.
• Compliance: Current National Police Check (or NDIS Worker Screening) and up-to-date immunisations.
