Job summary

Contemporary Catering in Victoria is seeking a part-time Chef to produce and deliver high-quality meals and oversee resident dining experiences. You will lead the kitchen team, ensure smooth operations, and maintain strict food safety, WHS and quality standards in aged care facilities.

You will manage stock, control food costs, and liaise with facility management, residents and families while contributing to a friendly, supportive team culture and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Chef qualifications and relevant experience in aged care settings.
• Experience with modified texture and dietary needs in aged care is required.
• Understanding of food cost management and inventory control is important.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and service quality.
• Strong presentation and grooming, with opportunities for growth and development.
