Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents in Menora, WA. You will support the Chef and kitchen team to plan, prepare, and present nutritious meals tailored to residents’ needs.

The role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least one year in a commercial kitchen; bulk cooking and texture-modified meal experience are highly regarded. Join a not-for-profit organization with strong support and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Minimum of one year in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience highly desirable.
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals advantageous.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team.
• Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced meals for residents.
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control.
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with food safety standards.
